| Elan Intelli-Mute Kit (EIK-xxx) |
The Intelli-Mute Kit is the world’s first software driven micro processor controlled mute module
with intelligent Activity & Voltage detection software. Providing its own engine running ignition
output for easy installation and use on vehicles with Can-Bus & Multiplex wiring systems.
Key Features:
• Four relay mute module enabling switching of six vehicle speakers simultaneously,
whilst phone audio is played through vehicle front speakers.
• Internally fused with re-settable automotive thermal fuse.
• Short circuit protection, to protect the module from incorrect power configuration.
• Time out delay when call is ended to ensure audio quality is not compromised
when switching between radio and phone call.
• Isolated mute Input / Output to protect car-kit from current overloading.
• Detachable ‘T’ shaped harness for easier cable routing and installation where
space is restricted.
• Audio & Mute activated device, can be activated by Audio, Mute or both simultaneously.

The Easi-Mute Kit is a cost effective mute solution that utilises the same harnesses as the Intelli-Mute
product but without the Audio Sensing & Intelligent Activity & Voltage software.

The Elan Direct Mute is a vehicle specific harness designed for vehicles that are telephone ready, this
provides a cost effective mute solution without the need for a separate mute module.

Elan ISO To Car Adapter Harness (ITC-xxx) |
The ITC-xxx harness range can be used to adapt and install any aftermarket equipment that is terminated
with ISO type connections for example, hands-free car-kits, iPod/MP3 music devices etc, by converting the
ISO connections to the vehicle specific connectors required for the vehicle you are installing.
The ITC-xxx range of harnesses are plug and play and they connect in between the equipment you are
installing and the vehicle audio system, preventing you from having to cut the vehicle wiring harness and
invalidate the vehicle warranty.
Key Features:
• Longer cable length than typical ISO to vehicle products providing (500mm)
from the ISO connectors to the vehicle radio connector, enabling easier cable
routing, more location flexibility and faster installation.

Elan Adjustable Audio Attenuator (EMB-002) |
The adjustable audio attenuator can be connected in line with EDM-xxx,
EZK-xxx or EIK-xxx product ranges but it can only be used on vehicles where
the integration harness / phone audio are being connected pre-amplifier, the
audio attenuator will isolate the DC path and reduce any unwanted noise on
the phone audio input and enable you to adjust the audio level going into
the vehicle radio unit / amplifier.

Elan Extension Harness (EXH-xxx) |
The Elan Extension Harnesses EXH-xxx can be used to extend the harness length in the vehicle
where the mute cable is fitted in the rear of the vehicle or under the vehicle seats. There are two
different types of Elan Extension Harnesses, both available in 2.5 & 5m lengths, Elan Accessory
Harness Extensions for use with the EDM-xxx, EZK-xxx & EIK-xxx product ranges and the ISO 2 Car
Adaptor harnesses which can be used with the ITC-xxx & EPK-xxx product ranges.
